Baby Yoga

  • Baby yoga is a wonderful way to promote your baby's physical and mental development while also providing a unique bonding experience for you and your child. 

Some of the benefits of baby yoga are:

  • Improves flexibility and strength; Baby yoga helps boost flexibility and strength, as gentle stretches support muscle growth and mobility.
  • Enhances motor development; Baby yoga contributes positively to motor development by promoting balance, coordination, and body awareness. Through guided movement and exploration, infants develop a deeper understanding of their physical capabilities, supporting comprehensive growth and developmental progress.
  • Helps with digestion and relaxation; Certain baby yoga poses can ease digestion and relieve colic or constipation. Baby yoga also promotes relaxation, helping to soothe fussiness or restlessness.
  • Encourages sensory exploration; Baby yoga gives infants a chance to safely explore and develop their senses in a nurturing environment. Through different movements, textures, and sounds in yoga, babies can enhance their sensory abilities and connect more deeply with their surroundings.
  • Supports emotional bonding; Baby yoga helps strengthen your emotional bond with your child through shared activities that foster love and security. It benefits both you and your baby, supporting physical growth, emotional connection, and sensory development. 

Baby yoga classes

For baby yoga we offer 2 classes.

Our first class is baby beginner yoga aimed at children from 8 weeks to approximately 5 months.

Our second class is baby advance yoga and this is aimed at our more active children aged approximately 20 weeks to active walkers.

We can offer advice and support with a simple developmental checker to help decide which class is best for you and your child.
